Become The Speaker And Leader You Want To Be
Toastmasters International’s Youth Leadership Program (YLP) is a course in Communications that was created to help develop the speaking and leadership skills of young people between the ages 14 to 17.
The program is an interactive workshop that is conducted in eight sessions, each session lasts one to two hours.
Young participants conduct the meetings guided by an adult coordinator and assistants who also help prepare and monitor sessions
Each session is packed with opportunities to improve the following skills:
- Speech preparation and presentation
- How to conduct meetings
- How to listen effectively
- How to evaluate and offer help and advice
- How to lead a Group
- How to conduct Group discussions and/or meetings
